Animate Applet

This page written with Java(tm) implements Animation of a single gif file (that contains a sequence of images).

Click on the image to make it stop/start animating.

Interface

• img: The url to of the gif animate (note that for netscape, this must be on the same server)
• pause: milli second delay between frames (default 75).
• fixedpaused: milli second delay at end of animation (default 0).
• randompause: random delay at end of animation. 0-randompause milli seconds (default 0).
• loop: Number of times to loop through, 0 means continuous looping. (default 0)
• onclick: What to do when the user click on the animation. Allowable values are default and URL. If you specify anything besides default, it treats the value as a URL, and tries to load it. If the URL leads to an external helper application, the default action is also taken.

How To

• Grab the file Animate.class (hold the shift key down and select link) then put it the current directory (that you have the HTML page).
• If you
• Create or steal an animation: (eg anim-bloke-small.gif)
• Add the following (note that you must get the width correct)
